Let’s NOT Make “Recognition” a “Distraction”

Totally agree with this view as mentioned in a previous post (here). This is not a “Job Done!” situation; to the contrary, if this decision is to mean anything this should be reflected with actions on the ground in the occupied territories for it to be meaningful. There are consequences for delayed action or continuing to turn a blind eye as mentioned before; so I hope governments make sure they pursue the right course of action in their own interest and the interest of people that have suffered for much too long while the world turned its back because of propaganda that was allowed to reverse the narrative of events that are actually happening on the ground and the clear history behind it. The entire region deserves better than this including Israel and this can only happen away from both extremist ideologies and as mentioned many times before “constant foreign meddling”.
