Watch this interview if interested in the mideast conflict and make your own judgement. It’s an interview by Norwegian channel (though a few months old) but a brilliant example of professional/straightforward journalism. I also commend the Israeli rep for making time for this interview, though it is my opinion disingenuous repeating the correct claim of Israeli being a “democracy” which is a governance model that has nothing to do with government actions which are driven purely by values and you can decide for yourself whether (and which) values have been respected. Beyond that there is not much else for me to say except that I am not/never was x or y but I’am anti-double standards when it comes to international law and human rights; to me there is no difference between the life of one person or another-they are all precious irrespective of nationality, religious conviction or political affiliation. I just wish the best for a region/people that have suffered plenty for generations. It doesn’t (and never had) to be this way.
